December Daily

Hi Everyone!

Wauw it has bin way to long sinds my last blog!!! I have to say it's because I have the feeling that nobody is reading this blog anyway ;-)
But I decided to just wright anyway just in case someone reads it ;-) LOL.

So this is what I have bin doing this last months.

I am currently in New Zealand where I work on a dairy farm.
From December 15th I will leave this job (after 6 months) and go travel and find work somewhere in New Zealand.
I have heaps of scrapbook stuff with me and I'm keeping a journal/project life mixup. And its great!
It reminds me of December Daily. A 6x8 sn@p album with heaps of pictures and a hybrid version of project life and normal scrapbooking. I will show some pictures soon.
But talking about December Daily. I'm at the start of making my first DD.
I bought a kit (scraptastic stocking stuffer) and I have prepped my sn@p album. Not to much cause I have no idea how many pictures I wil take every day for a whole month. But as I am planning a trip I have the feeling that I don't have to worry to much about enough pictures.
I want to share with you my cover page now. And I will upload layouts weekly.
I hope you guys like it.
Cause I love the first page.

It is created on a transparency page. Although the picture doesn't show that very well.

As I am now on the southern half of the world. It's now summer here. And that means not the cosy christmas feeling that I am used to when in the Netherlands.
But that gives it a special memorie by it's self.
But for the DD I decided to use the normal red and green that you would use for any christmas layouts. And add turquoise and gold to my palet. So it stays fresh and "summerish" in my opinion.

Please leave a comment telling what you do this christmas with scrapbooking. Are you making a December Daily/Documented or do you make the 12x12 layouts?
I would love to now you're ideas.

Project Life October

Hi scrappers!!

I love the concept project life!

I started in January 2013 with my first project life album. And i'm o so proud to say that i'm up to date with the pictures!!!

I'm sharing this layout made with the Chic Tags October kit!

My first kit from them. 

There is only one problem. i'm out of small alpha stickers so normally I would have used them on the layout. But still I like what I made!

Here are some pictures:

I used Embossing powder for the first time in my Project life. I used the happy little mess stamp out of the kit and i coffered the letters and stamped the splash above it with versa mark. Then i used Zing embossing powder Teal and heated that with my heat gun. Then i covered the splash on the stamp en stamped the letters with Prima old road. It takes a bit of time and effort but I like how it turned out.

Hi Scrappers!!

I recently discovered Chig Tags. An amazing scrapbook designer that has great embellishments for your everyday scrapbookking.

In November they started there monthly project life kit and when I got the november kit I was so excited!

The tags and cards are made with good quality papers and the designs are so cute.

I just had to share this with you guy's.

Today I got my december kit. And again it's to cute!

Fruit picking in Renmark

Hello everyone!
I have made some new layouts using simple stories 24/7 and some scraps.
I like them a lot although they are pictures from when I was fruit picking in Renmark Australia. And I hated that a lot!
Looking back it wasn't that bad.

8,5x11 layouts

Hey everyone!

I made some new layouts. 

I recently discovered 8,5x11 inch layouts and I just love to make them.

With the 12x12 layouts there is so much space to fill and sometimes I get lost in all the embellishments. So 8,5x11 layouts work much better for me!

The following layouts are made with the kit. 

And the pictures are from my cats. But thats obvious ;-)

Riding on the Great Ocean Road.

Hey everyone!

I spend a lot of time scrapbooking with the kit that I got.
I find it kind a hard to scrapbook with it. Because I don't want to open my album and see layout after layout all made with the same papers.
Thats why I only made 2 layouts for my Travel album.
And I tried to make them not to match.
I think i'f done a good job with that in mind.

My sweet little friend

Hey everyone,

So for my first real blog post I choose to wright it about a layout i just made.
Today my scrapbook kit from a scrapbook webshop in the netherlands arrived and I immediately started to scrap! I's just an amazing kit with lost of nice papers.
I made the layout about my cat, Tom.
This picture is taken when he was just 2 months old. And i find it so darn cute!
Today I used the Mister huey's color mists for the first time. I love the little accent it gives to a page.
But my new white desk is covered with it. And i'm not really happy with that, I must say.
